   Thank you. I have numerous health problems including osteoarthritis, disc disease, fibromyalgia… Medicinal marijuana reduces my pain, nausea, muscle spasms, inflamation and so much more. It makes me a better parent as a result (not just because I play video games better:). That part about hugs from your child, moved me, same here. Those close to me have come to support it as they see the reduction in my suffering. I thank God every day that I don’t have to pretend to smile all the time.

   To all doubters of the efficacy and value of this remarkable plant, please read “Forbidden Medicine” … by Grinspoon and Bakalar …. one of the finest and most honest books on the subject. Grinspoon is a professor at Harvard … and the book is published Yale University . Pretty good credentials.

   WHY ‘Funny Medicine”….that is just, well, absurd. .If they are NOT conditioned by things like D.A.R.E. and that “drugs are bad”, when not a one of them realize that they’d be a stillborn piece of medical waste were it not for “drugs”, then I can’t see the need for differentiating pills from difference; especially if you use edibles or take capsules.
   If kids ask, they should be told truth, that this is just medicine…not ‘funny medicine’. This does more harm than good.

    It’s called “Marinol” and has been available by prescription for many years. However, it is only ever prescribed to end-stage cancer patients and the reports have consistently suggested that it’s nowhere near as effective as the whole plant, which contains more than just THC. Also, smoking – or better yet, VAPORIZING, which is much safer for the lungs – allows the patient to set their own effective dose more accurately, with less chance of overdosing.

    I heard that THC (no, not Tim Horton’s Coffee, although you never know LOL) is a “crystal” – which kinda implies it could be extracted and put into pills, soluble injections, etc, NO?
