i want to implement for a health-related marijuana card but i dont want to drop my fiscal aid for college.

Call FAFSA and they will give you the 100% answer that you need. From what I know I can tell you that it would NOT affect your financial aid. The only thing related to possession (let’s say you got caught with a pipe, a bag of weed, or got caught growing plants) WHILE you are receiving financial aid. Then you would be in deep trouble, you would have to repay all the financial aid money back and would no longer be eligible to receive aid. There is a possibility you could get it back but you would have to participate in a rehabilitation program with drug testing and have to provide FAFSA with verification that you completed this program and can pass a drug test. So you may want to think about all of that before you decide to take the risk of getting a medical card, just because your state allows medical cards doesn’t mean that is recognized federally. So you can still be charged. If you were to receive a drug charge while you are not receiving federal aid then you are still eligible for financial aid, a lot of people will try to tell you differently (they’ll try to say that even if you get charged while you’re not receiving federal aid that you can never get it), this is not true and you can verify this with FAFSA. If I were you I wouldn’t take the risk, but that’s just me!
