Can I get a license to grow cannabis for medical departments in California?

Question by : Can I get a license to grow cannabis for medical departments in California?
I plan someday to buy a home in northern California with lots of land. And just like a plantation, I’d like to use a lot of it to harvest and grow cash crops, including pot. Now, I saw recently that one Marijuana Inc. special on CBS and saw that in northern California, many people grow pot and don’t get charged for it or anything and I was wondering if it is legal? I don’t smoke pot personally, but I want to find out if I can get a license to grow cannabis to sell to medical departments; I could make hundreds of thousands, if not millions! So, any links or something would be good, thanks. God bless!

You can read more about growing pot in California in this resource. Then decide if you still want to move to California and be a pot grower.

It is still illegal. Possession of up to one ounce gets you a $ 100 fine. If you have more, you get a record and jail time.

Maybe – some day. There is no license to grow MJ or MMJ and no medical departments.
Read up on Medical Marijuana at Norml.org, mpp.org, safeaccessnow.org

Dreaming of Tara after seeing a TV special or series. Shown in 2009 so it had to be filmed 07 – 08. Good luck with the millions with a someday plan.
